Last Minute Tax Help

The Paseo Verde and Green Valley Library AARP Free Tax Help Volunteers are officially booked through April 15th. No more appointments are being taken. The Economic Stimulus Package of 2008 has created a larger than anticipated crowd of people who need to file this year in order to qualify for the rebate. The IRS has provided an eight page instruction booklet for these folks found here. However, there are still many folks who still need assistance at this late hour. For these people, there is still hope. There is still free tax help available on a first come, first served basis if these last minute filers are willing to make a small drive into the city, and possibly wait in line.
